Gender-based violence and any aggression against women and girls is a subject close to my heart. A call for proposals from an international organizations inspired me and a team of creatives to design a campaign to make violence against women in public transportation and spaces. The concept of the campaign is to visualize the feeling of asphyxiating anxiety that women feel when we are harassed. Unfortunately, the campaign was not selected for execution.
Colciencias was Colombia’s agency in charge of fostering science, technology and innovation. I led a team of creatives that developed multiple campaigns to promote and communicate some of their major initiatives, including: tax breaks for companies that innovate; protecting intellectual property through patents; and, inspiring people to apply for higher education when they are passionate about knowledge and intellect.
The Ministry of Education of Colombia sought to activate young people and students around peaceful coexistence and citizen culture. I led a team of creatives that developed the Citizen Gene Campaign (Gen Ciudadano), a set of interventions and activities to foster peaceful attitudes and behaviors in schools and other key settings. The campaign inspired music groups, young influencers and youtubers, and urban artists to interpret and express what they felt when they were activated with the ‘Citizen Gene’.
The companies are part of the Association of Fiduciaries in Colombia needed to educate wider audiences to make them comfortable about alternative ways of savings in Colombia, specifically, in Collective Investment Funds. The challenge was to design and test a digital campaign to show how people with different investment profiles can venture towards these forms of saving.
